Chiltern Rangers have done two bird ringing sessions in the past week or so and have ringed: 5x blue tits, long-tailed tit (and found a nest), dunnock, chiffchaff, male & female goldcrest and the female siskin shown in the photograph

The sighting of a Water Rail on 25th February in the Wycombe Marsh area has been reported to the Bucks Bird Club.

Today two RTW volunteers were checking out a Chiltern Society organised walk scheduled for Weds 5th February. While walking from Kingsmead to Bassetsbury Lane beside the river they had 6 sightings of Little Egrets .
