The Hughenden Stream Conservation – Friday 12 November 2021
Judy and Keith led an intrepid team of 11 volunteers continuing to clear excess vegetation in the Hughenden Stream.
Despite a full-on downpour as the team waited to start work, and heavy rain showers during the morning, spirits were not dampened and no one complained.
The final indignity was heavy rain while a rest was taken for tea and coffee – chocolate biscuits helped though!
The difference made is clearly visible, with the stream now flowing much faster.
