River Wye conservation on the Rye – Tuesday 26 April 2022

On a glorious spring morning we had 11 volunteers at the work party on the Rye.

We worked in three groups in different places, with most people in the river removing dead branches from the river bed, and doing some cutting of overhanging branches. We created nine piles of woody debris for the Council contractors to remove.

A very successful morning and volunteers were rewarded with homemade flapjack which went down very well.
