Chiltern Rangers – Voluntary Weekend Conservation Dates

Chiltern Rangers have arranged the following dates to meet at various nature reserves to complete conservation tasks to enhance our local environment and help the community.  We would love for you to come along and join us.   Come and experience what it’s really like being a Chiltern Ranger.  The tasks involved will be tree felling, coppicing, brushcutting, woodchipping, fires and some river cleaning at 1 location.

Sunday 30th September  10am till 1pm  WYE DENE, Bowden Lane, High Wycombe, HP11 1DL.  (Meet at Funges Meadow.)  This meet will involve cleaning this section of the River Wye and planting.  The river is a rare urban chalk stream.  In aid of World Rivers Day!

Saturday 27th October  10am till 1pm DENE GARDEN WOOD , Lime Avenue, High Wycombe HP11 1DS

Saturday 10th November 10am till 1pm  KEEP HILL, Warren Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1DW (Bridleway Entrance)

Saturday 24th November 10am till 1pm KEEP HILL, Warren Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1DW  (Bridleway Entrance)

Children are welcome, but must be supervised.  Please bring water and wear sensible shoes, trousers and long sleeves.  We will provide all the tools,  tea/coffee etc.
